Mediation & Agreement Preparation
MEDIATION
As a family law mediator, Kevin does not represent either side of a dispute but rather acts as a neutral third party to facilitate communication and guide the parties through a process where they can discuss the various issues in their case to reach a mutually acceptable agreement. Since the outcome of this process is a written contract, Kevin will make sure that document complies with related legal requirements.
Parties interested in having more control over the outcome of their case, avoiding the adversarial process and its increased costs, and who have a certain level of mutual trust in one another are the best candidates for a successful mediation.
AGREEMENT PREPARATION
Kevin has drafted numerous agreements in his years as a lawyer. In the family law area, he can assist with agreement preparation for things like: Separation Agreements, Pre-Nuptial Agreements, Modification Agreements, Custody and Access Agreements and Child Support Agreements. He can get those important documents prepared for individuals needing an agreement in place but have opted not to pursue the mediation process.
